If your child needs supplemental instruction to stay in the school of your choice, we are here to help you achieve your goal. We at EIM are available to help you and your child receive SETSS, P3 services which are at no cost to you through the Department of Education.

The Department of Education offers educational support services, P3, SETSS, in order to maintain a child in the school that they are attending. P3 services can be provided in school, after school at home.

Services We Offer

Paraprofessionals

A teaching assistant who helps students learn. Paraprofessionals serve students both within and outside of the classroom with educational, behavioral, and other supports. When a kid is receiving special education and related services, paraprofessionals frequently work with them one-on-one.

SETTS

A special education teacher supports students with academic, behavioral, social, executive functioning, focusing, and processing goals through specially designed or supplemental instruction to support the student's participation in the general education classroom. Students ages 5 and up may receive this support.

Advocacy

In order to guarantee that your child receives the right services., our staff advocates on your behalf.

Related Services

Specialized therapies like speech therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and counseling are provided to students.

What Is SETSS?

(SETSS) is specially designed and/or supplemental instruction provided by a special education teacher.

These services help your child stay in the general education classroom while receiving services from a special education teacher. The special education teacher may work directly with your child to support participation in a general education classroom and provide direct specially designed and/or supplemental instruction to your child. This may include adapting the content being taught or using different instructional methods such as visual aids, highlighted work sheets and simplified directions

When a student is attending a mainstream school and is having difficulty in one or more subject areas, they receive or are entitled to receive through the Board of Education tutoring which is called P3 or SETSS (Special Education Teacher Support Services) services.

This means that a licensed Special Education teacher will meet the student to assist in his/her area(s) of difficulty. This service is free of charge to the family.
